tucker1122 16 August 2007, 21:16 Hi im after the nurbergring sticker: the one im after "says keep attacking the nurbergring" at the moment ive just got the standard gold one Cheers:norty: scooby-tc 16 August 2007, 21:24 You can get them in Nurburg,Germany ;) loads of different ones to choose from :D not sure where you can get them from in this country, fleabay might be worth a shot DAVE-W 16 August 2007, 21:24 Seen them on ebay m8....think japanparts.com also do them. tucker1122 16 August 2007, 21:26 cheers guys NACRO 17 August 2007, 08:09 You've been there haven't you tucker? dynamix 17 August 2007, 08:17 That ring sticker is for the Type-RA and ebay is your best bet. Dont put a ring sticker on your car though if you havent been - you will look like a bell-end. Well worth going over though :D NACRO 17 August 2007, 08:26 I'd imagine someone that's been would at least be able to spell the name correctly .................. SwissTony 17 August 2007, 08:34 we have this similar kind of post every 5 months or so. all the ring drivers say you cant have them if you havent been  so all the people who have stickered up rally style graphics better remove them as well, as they havent been built by prodrive yadda yadda. balls to them, if you want a sticker on, slap it on I say :lol1: NACRO 17 August 2007, 08:36 You can have one by all means but like rally style graphics they'll mark you out as a bell end as suggested by the previous poster. dynamix 17 August 2007, 08:43 You can have one by all means but like rally style graphics they'll mark you out as a bell end as suggested by the previous poster. SwissTony 17 August 2007, 08:52 disagree totally .. if you want to put stickers on, ring ones or rally ones that is entirely up to the individual. Coming on here and asking for comments will always generate some negative ones. I personally wouldnt put rally graphics over my car, but have mates who have and they looked great. so what if one person thinks you are a bell-end ,most people couldnt give a toss. dynamix 17 August 2007, 08:56 i can count two here so far Tony, but that's beside the point :) Agree - of course he can put one on - the one he asked about was the RA sticker. Obviously he should have an RA to put it on. As for the ring stickers in general, people can do what they like. Personally I believe the car has to earn it. SwissTony 17 August 2007, 09:06 i can count two here so far Tony, but that's beside the point :) Agree - of course he can put one on - the one he asked about was the RA sticker. Obviously he should have an RA to put it on. As for the ring stickers in general, people can do what they like. Personally I believe the car has to earn it. agree that the specific type stickers are slightly different. maybe he just prefers the type ra ring stickers better than the normal ones. anyway I am sure gary will be along shortly with his views :lol1: NACRO 17 August 2007, 09:07 disagree totally .. That's your prerogative entirely. However there is a body of opinion that 'ring stickers on cars that haven't been there make as much sense as having a "I saw the monkey's at London Zoo" sticker if you didn't. Worse that that they are a pose which presumably the person in question will either lie about 'Yeh I went round that nuremberg (sic) ring in 7 minutes innit' or will be forced to admit they are a 'wannabe' (why people would think driving round there is something to aspire to that makes them look cool I have no idea). Still we have no idea if the original poster has been or not so it's all academic. SwissTony 17 August 2007, 09:18 that's the point isnt it, it is our choice. what hacks me off is when you get "the body of people" who say you cant have them if you havent been. Still say balls to them :p I used to have this on http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/cdodsworth/ringsticker.jpg and then just for some fun and to even up the sides I had this on http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0903/cdodsworth/m25ringsticker.jpg (btw the water has gone :D ) just a bit of fun :thumb: Where can you get the Monkey stickers, that sounds like my next purchase :D Mk2_heaven 17 August 2007, 09:50 i love those m25ring jobbies where were they from? SwissTony 17 August 2007, 09:52 one guess :D number : 120151033434 Jay m A 17 August 2007, 10:03 Surely you didn't forget to get the stickers when you where at Nurburg? ;) You can usually get free fake ring stickers every few issues of Max Power etc, if you want to join the petrolheads version of the great unwashed, go ahead Its a shame that the populous reporting of the Nurburgring has diluted the sticker, theres even a thread on Northloop suggesting ring stickers aren't cool anymore... IMO the car has to earn it, and since the sticker should only appeal to those that have prior knowledge of the ring - it shouldn't have to say what it is either Beastie 17 August 2007, 10:28 Print this out and stick it on your car :D https://secure.gdfinternet.co.uk/ccd/images/venues_uploaded_pictures/5_ring.gif NACRO 17 August 2007, 10:49 Its a shame that the populous reporting of the Nurburgring has diluted the sticker, theres even a thread on Northloop suggesting ring stickers aren't cool anymore... They aren't and they never were IMO, apart from on a few cars that 'live' at the 'ring. People who stick them on their cars that haven't even been there are sad pathetic wannabees. However if they want to look like that then of course it's entirely their choice......... SwissTony 17 August 2007, 10:50 a corner at the 'ring':D spender 17 August 2007, 11:42 How many chavs/Max flower wannabees could you sell stickers to with an incorrect spelling of Nurburgring...hee hee. Now where's that number of the local vinyl place................. Norman Dog 17 August 2007, 13:34 japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE (http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?dealer=1&car=&middlesmall=2%3A8&maker=5&volkey=153-032-00) http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=951 midas303 17 August 2007, 15:21 You can have one by all means but like rally style graphics they'll mark you out as a bell end as suggested by the previous poster. So every one with rally graphics is a bell end are they......... The only bell end is you. It's up to individuals how they style their cars. NOT you....! NACRO 17 August 2007, 15:35 So every one with rally graphics is a bell end are they......... The only bell end is you. It's up to individuals how they style their cars. NOT you....! There are some guys out there rallying cars who aren't bell ends. All the others certainly look like nobbers when they're driving their cars in my opinion. What's more pathetic than some fat, balding middle aged bloke driving around in a car that looks like an airfix model? I didn't use the term bellend BTW merely quoted it. dynamix 17 August 2007, 17:17 Stickers are a personal thing - if you want rally graphics get them, if you want other graphics get them, but I am not alone in thinking that to show a ring sticker should be a sign that you have been and driven it and are not merely a wannabe which is what anyone that has been there will think of you. But, it is up to you of course. midas303 17 August 2007, 19:36 You will like this NACRO, I just remembered watching Team America....Have you seen it. It will be one of those American puppet type films you probably frown at. Anyway during the film one of them turns round and says.....In this world there are only three types of people there are fannies (not the word he used but you will get the drift) these are people who get shafted by everyone. A**holes they just like to poo on every one and the third type are dicks. They shaft the fannies. But they can also shaft the A**holes. So in a round about way you have complemented us bell ends with rally graphics on our scoobies. Just as a matter of interest where would you see yourself fitting in.? So that is a big up for all us bellends with rally graphics on our scoobies. With the ring sticker, personnaly I would not display one untill I had been round it. I guess it would take me about 20 mins though as I am one of the balding middle aged bellends with rally graphics on my scoobie. nillscarbarundum illegitami. Probably spelt wrong too. dynamix 17 August 2007, 21:19 do you feel better now ? :D midas303 17 August 2007, 22:41 I feel dissapointed really. I don't have to take that cr*p off anyone let alone someone I've never met or spoken too. Some people are too quick to catagorise, or may be take things a bit too serious. We all like our cars to look good and we do that in ways that we think look good. Most of us can't drive like rally drivers and if you can well fair play to you. But don't just generalise. Sometimes it is better to keep your opinions to yourself. dynamix 17 August 2007, 23:00 I had rally graphics on mine until recently - its not me judging your rally graphics...... the thread was about ring stickers, but then if it is a touchy subject then I am sorry. |
