Following development and testing with Hayward and Scott, we are very pleased to be able to announce that we can now supply our Afterburner systems in 3" format for Impreza 1993-2000 and 2001-2005 (2006 coming soon).

Why narrowing to 2.5" at the flange? Couldn't we have 3" all the way, adaptor plates can be sourced to reduce to 2.5" if required then. As quite a few of us have/are thinking of going over to 3" this cuts this out as an option by narrowing the pipe.

Totally agree :thumb: If i was to swap to a 3" System i'd also want it 3" @ the flange.
Love the afterburner system i've got and would seriously consider a upgrade to a 3"

Hi Guys,
The 3" to 2.5" tapered Afterburner R was developed to fit with existing standard sized exhaust components for those customers just wanting to buy/fit the back box alone similar to the Blitz Nur Spec S. However we have finished developing another version of the Afterburner R which is 3" at the flange. This will be available alongside a 3" centre pipe which also will have the option of tapering to 2.5" at the flange or remaining 3" throughout.

Full 3" is available now as a special order product. If you are interest please give us a call. All pipework options regarding the Afterburner R will be added to the website in due course.

whats the advantage of this Afterburner to the 2.5" that i have on my 06 wrx ????
