Damn!!! Is there now way to get one of these for a 1998 WRX STi? This would be a lethal setup!!

can you answer a couple of question son these?

1) I am presuming these plug into the OBDII port - is there a OBDII port on the PSI3 that I could plug in my laptop to in order to datalog or some way of then downloading the logs from PSI3 to a laptop to analyse in Delta Dash?

2) Will you be adding a GPS option to enable lap timing?

It may well work in your car, 1998/1999 was the change over period to full OBD II compliance, we know it works in the WRX STi5 from 1998, we offer a full refund if you purchase and find that the monitor will not work in your car.

To answer your questions, yes they plug into the OBD port, output for datalogging capture is a planned feature for the near future, the monitors are supplied with a serial interface to connect to your pc/laptop for bitmap image download and software updates at present.

Lap timing is not a feature at present, the "Track Day" menu offers 0-60, quarter mile and road dyno options. Please see below user manual with the current features.

Difficult to say at present, all of the new monitors have the have additional hardware already fitted for CANbus interface and data logging it's down to writing and testing the software.
