View Full Version : Can we each have a Guestbook in our "View my scooby" for people to leave comments?
frayz 07 August 2007, 22:39 Sorry if this has been asked before, but i never post in this area.
However i often look at people scoobies and want to comment on them. I think this would be a cool feature for people to sign/leave comments on other people cars.
These comments would be viewable by everyone that looks at the cars thereafter. I know some other forums have this feature.
Any thoughts?? :wonder:
ex-webby 07 August 2007, 22:43 Good idea frayz
We'll stick this on the list and have it installed asap. Thanks for the suggestion :)
ex-webby 07 August 2007, 22:44 PS. Possibly a rating system as well??

Yeah cool, i like that :thumb:
Like a "stars" system, the top scoobies can be listed in ranking :D
BRI4N 07 August 2007, 22:52 Good idea, in principal.:thumb:
As long as we can delete abusive or non constructive comments (Which will happen):)
ex-webby 07 August 2007, 22:54 agreed
The owner should be able to moderate their own guest book.

Yeah, can add/delete comments etc.
Maybe a scoobynets top 10 classics or top 10 newages..
Maybe just a top 10 scoobies..
Maybe this could lead to a Scoobynet top scoob competition like theyre having over on the NASIOC right now. People submit pics and an article about their car for the mods to select 10 and then the members vote for ther favorite etc. :thumb:
SirFozzalot 08 August 2007, 08:54 Cool idea! :notworthy

frayz 09 August 2007, 12:41 Shaun,
When might we be likely to get this?
Cheers :thumb:
ex-webby 09 August 2007, 15:07 We might actually have this launched in the next day or two..
But I can't promise anything, so please don't hold me to that.

ex-webby 23 August 2007, 22:56 My lawyers have advised me not to answer that question!! ;)
Nah.. its going well.. but it needs all sorts of other elements finishing off first.
It will be great though.

ex-webby 30 August 2007, 23:09 There you go frayz :)
Version 1, up and running.
swampster 30 August 2007, 23:23 I like that! :)
Just one thing I would add... there's always something eh!
A link to your own Plus Profile that is somewhere prominent/easy so that you can go have a peek at the guestbook and/or change your mood easily. It seems at the minute that you need to go find a thread you have posted in and then click the button next to your own name.
frayz 31 August 2007, 00:48 Cheers for making this real guys,
Loving it :D
kingofturds 31 August 2007, 06:24 Woo hoo up and running :D

There does seem to be a link, if you go to the Nav bar (Home, Forum, ScoobyNews...) hover over forum, you'll see there is a "plus profile" option in there :)
Simon, kot is quite correct about the swear filter for moods, does seem to allow you to say some very naughty things :D
swampster 31 August 2007, 19:48 I'm sure that wasn't there when I posted it! :) :wonder:
