DannyBoy007 08 August 2007, 10:05 It's an easy job fit them yourself "Taylor" 08 August 2007, 15:39 hi new to this and got some d2 coilovers need fitting......any recommendations....down near tenby? Me and a mate fitted mine, their easy enough to fit. We set them up roughly then i took the car to Promax rally car builders in Llanelli last week. They set them up properly and did an awesome job. I also had the 4 wheel alignment and tracking done too as i'd changed the track rod ends. Couldn't believe how cheap they were! Their number is 01554 784070. :thumb: wrx,sti 08 August 2007, 17:04 I done mine as well, a bit of wee wee to fit and like "Taylor" said you have to get the 4 wheel alignment done by the professionals and i don't mean Bodie + Doyle http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a142/chriswrxsti/prof.jpg (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a142/chriswrxsti/prof.jpg) I loved watching these when i was a kid:thumb: . Not much older now:D DannyBoy007 08 August 2007, 19:19 When we say it's easy, it's only three bolts at the top of each strut and the two that connect it at the bottom!!!!! so 20 nuts to undo and then redo. the rear seat are only 4-5 bolts. You don't even have to disconnect the brakes, just cut the bracket of the standard ones and bend with pliers and the new ones should already have a whole for the brake line. I've done mine a few times now and getting pretty good at it. welshy1979 08 August 2007, 20:25 cool cheers guys.problem is im not technicalley/mechanically minded....ie i know where the oil and petrol goes thats about it!lol welshy1979 09 August 2007, 13:54 all booked in to promax........seem sound enough and not bad on price EddScott 10 August 2007, 18:30 Used to take my classic to AWP in Narbeth if thats any help to you in the future Never had an issue with them. ozzreid1964 10 August 2007, 19:56 taking mine to promax wed morning to have wheel alignment and coilovers set up seem very good price :D "Taylor" 10 August 2007, 22:13 Very good price :D very good job :D :D :notworthy welshy1979 11 August 2007, 20:22 yeah my local gaareg said about awp narberth..wen rang up said the coilovers were a nite mare to fit and wud take 3 days to set up and fit.....and there words were and dont ask how much it will cost..........sound to me now like stretching the job a bit...plus couldnt do for two months!promax looking very good!
