i bought a sti6 rear spoiler off ebay.. it came in the post the other day so i removed the old low level spoiler and set the sti6 in place, the curve of the spoiler and the curve of the boot lid are not exactily the same, so there is a gap between the spoiler and the boot lid in the middle.. has anyone else had this problem??
cheers

I had the same problem. I used window sealing rubber from Wickes around the edge, then screwed the spoiler down, not too tightly in the middle. Then sealed the gap with Sikaflex. But I was lucky having a white car so it's not too obvious.

I think there was 3 to 4mm gap. You can tighten the ends so as to compress the sealing strip, but do not overtighten the middle.

i put the spoiler on again tonight and the gap isnt as big as i thought its only about 5mm and screws will pull it down as there is a bit of flex in the spoiler.. so it should be fine.. but thanks for th info guys!
