Default Tein S Tech Springs

Has anyone got them fitted, and what do you think of them?

Bob R has some and he rates them quite highly.

I have a question about these. Why are they lowered 40mm at the front and 25mm at the rear?

I think it is just a cosmetic thing.

Most Impreza's sit lower at the back than at the front, so they just make the car sit even.

The spax one's I'm currently removing are listed as 30mm front and 35mm rear although the whitelines I'm fitting are 40-50mm all round

As said above.

I have had them fitted to my current car and my previous car- WRX Bugeye. I have nothing bad to say about them at all. Reccomended.

I think they are too stiff for a classic though imho.

I want to stiffen the car up, but not quite as hard as with coilovers.

I'm really happy with mine, stiff but not crashy at all. MILES better than standard.

Had a couple of cars on S-Tech Springs... including my current STi, and I highly recommend them. I swapped them and fitted 18" Eagle F1's on different wheels and the ride is WAY better than it was on the standard springs and the 17" RE070 tyres fitted as standard.

Pics of how it looks are below in View My Scooby.. drastically reduced the front gap between tyre and arch and evened things up nicely.

Cheers,
Grant
