A bit late now i know, but did anyone see any of the open???? 4 great days of golf, just a shame sergio didnt win in the end.

Excitement right till the end, on a very fair course (not when I played it though :cry:).

sergio definately deserved to win, seeing as he was leading since day 1. And was also the better golfer overall imo

Sergio did'nt deserve to win. He lost the tournament by shooting +2 in the final round. You cant shoot that score in a major and expect to win. Harrington played better, simple as that. There was no way Sergio was going to win the play off either. You could see when he missed the putt to win on 18 that he was drained mentally and the momentum swung hugely in Harringtons favour. He got a second chance!

I wanted Sergio to win as he's an unbelievable talent. I played with him in a couple of amatuer events and he was just miles infront of everyone then, a true genius around the greens and at that time a very good putter! I have no doubts he will win majors, he just needs to break his cherry. He's had enough chances though:)
