I have beeen looking around at tourers something I could plan a road trip to france / spain on.

Initially I have been looking at Pans and the big tourers.

just wondered if anybody owns an Adventure type bike and suitability for such a trip ? (XL-Transalp, varadero, v-storm BMW GS or even the KTM ?

I have only held my full license for just over a Month, so my knowledge of bigger bikes is simply none existant, therfore I could be along way off the mark with such a bike for such a journey.
