This is starting to p*ss me off a bit - one of the reason why I paid for the Plus membership was the promise of regular prize draws.

Having this thread ignored isn't helping. I send a PM to Simon about it too but that has been ignored as well.

That's why I did it too. Surely the more draws for the Plus members, the more revenue the site will make?

Been very busy lately, but I'll try to get something up next year. I bought a really good nice yacht actually :)

Perhaps if I keep bumping this up we might get someone to spend the 20 seconds it will take to respond.....

I'd forgotten all about these draws until I read this post.
It seems very suspicious, prizes have been donated already, so where are the draws and whats happened to the prizes.
No response from anyone in 6 weeks.:eek2:

Flix, Like you I had also forgotten all about these (It's been soooo long since the last one). Maybe thats what Simon, Shaun and the ScoobyNet team etc are hoping ?

It's pretty poor when in the first post :-

"As you will probably have noticed, we have the first of our new regular feature : ScoobyDraws, which are free prize draws to members."

Whats regular about these, loads to start with then nothing, so was it just a money making exercise by Simon, Shaun and the ScoobyNet team in getting people to sign up and part with their hard earned :Suspiciou

Guys

Please accept my apologies. It has been an incredibly difficult few months, and this has simply been something that has slipped.

I will try really hard to get the next one up and running absolutely as soon as I can.

Sorry

Simon

Stop moaning...
MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN MOAN

and the 'stop moaning' comment coming from someone with a permanent moan in their signature :)

I'll post on this thread more often now to get your back up even more :smug:

Seriously, Simon will post them when he wants to. I guess after all this chasing that I wont probably be in with a good chance of winning anyway :lol1:

Maybe the powers that's be are waiting to store up a load of Free Draws for the run up to Christmas.

As long as this doesn't offend those who don't celebrate Christmas of course !

We couldn't have that now could we ! What, with Britain being a Christian country, and all that.

Hey, glad we served a purpose - all these new features offered, get more people to sign-up, none of the features are continued or updated but you get a better price for your site - nice one :)

Certainly looks that way. When was the last draw? End of July? Almost four months with no new ones!
I've cancelled my membership. I'm getting nothing out of being a plus member other than another icon by my name.

Some people are seriously bitter and twisted.

I've explained what has happened. You can directly call me a liar if you like.

There is no point adding to my previous post, as it still stands.

I have to say I dont care, but it does look that way, wether it be true or not.

:cuckoo: Eh?

We're called bitter and twisted because we're not provided with parts of a service we've paid for?

Why the liar comment? :wonder:

Btw - I PM'd you ages about the draws and stuff but you decided not to respond.

However, does all this mean that the draws and other features that haven't been updated in ages will now start happening again?

Richard.

No. This kind of word twisting really winds me up. You're called bitter and twisted because you decide to ignore my honest and straight forward answers as to why this has not yet been done, and instead choose your own cynical view that I've abused and conned everyone.

Why the liar comment?

If I tell you one thing, and you state that you think something different happened, that leaves no alternative other than I'm a liar.

A further illustration of the cynicism :

Btw - I PM'd you ages about the draws and stuff but you decided not to respond.

Not "But maybe you didn't receive it", or "maybe I missed your reply", or "maybe you're a human being and completely forgot", you've already come to the conclusion that I "DECIDED" not to respond.

However, does all this mean that the draws and other features that haven't been updated in ages will now start happening again?

I was state yet again that there is no value in adding to my previous statement :

Sorry

Simon

I'm sure you'll now comment on why the last few months have been so difficult. Either way, that's the situation.

I meant what I said. I am sorry. I do feel bad about it. But I'm also human.

I do feel bad about it.... from my yacht moored somewhere off the Bahamas.

........;)

I signed up for + Membership just for the hell of it... the draws aren't and never will be the be all of scoobynet, just something to enter while the forums are quiet, so give the guy a break!!... it'll get sorted...;)

You're all moaning so much you've probably grown breasts :D

Simon - looking forward to the new features kicking back into life in the future then and I wont post on the subject again.

As an aside, I think your post above was a bit OTT.

I actually used to have a nice pair before I lost the weight :smug:

I once watched a film about a man that had a false pair implanted for a $10,000 bet and he won... only to decide to leave them in... cracking pair as well, and the women like playing with them during sex! :lol1:
