That is daylight robbery. What else is there for them to do apart from administrate and cough up if you need to claim? Tell 'em to ram it or you'll look for another insurer.

I phoned them after I moved and it might be different if you give them a bit of notice, like I say I dunno if it will make a difference but it might, £25 admin fee is just plain daft

Kav it was the cheapest quote by far, but come renewall time I'll have a years ncb so I might have more of a chance to get a decent quote from somewhere else,

Fair play mate and if the quote was that cheap, that's probably why they justify it. Still seems steep for about 30 seconds work over the phone though.
