Competition - New ScoobyNet Merchandise
Right...
We had such a great result with last year's competition to design the new ScoobyNet logo, that we thought we'd let you lot loose on this.
ScoobyGear
ScoobyGear is ScoobyNet's new range of merchandise, which will start off with a small range of straight forward, good quality items, and expand as time goes on.
We want a really great concept for ScoobyGear, and we're handing it over to you for ideas and inspiration!
Brand Concept Ideas
If this is what you're good at, post up some rough ideas, it doesn't matter how unfinished they are, just post up anything you think signifies subaru owndership, the scooby community, driving a subaru, etc, etc.
eg "a road that goes from snow, to tarmac, to wet tarmac, to mud, and put a tick next to each of them"
or... "splash of mud, and maybe a spinning wheel?"
ANY ideas will be great as they will also create other ideas.
Slogan Ideas
"Scooby drivers do it in the forest".. As simple, or as clever as you like. Just blurt them out!
Logo / Brand Design
If you're a designer, go crazy! The logo itself is very likely to be identical to the ScoobyNet logo, with the "Net" part replaced by "Gear". But the rest is up for grabs! And if you think you can come up with something better for the logo itself, give that a go as well.

If your idea is used
Anyone who's ideas / work is used as part of the end result will receive prizes ranging from Full Member upgrades, up to a complete set of merchandise.

Well don't enter then!
This kind of attitude cracks me up. Its called community spirit. We can have a corporate agency design this stuff for us, and just pay a few hundred quid (not thousands btw), or we can make it a fun thing designed and built by the community, and spend the money on prizes.
If you are such a high flying designer that you can come up with something so great that we won't need to do this, then please send me a quote, and I'll take it into consideration!
The people that will enter this will be people who take some pride in the scoobynet community and want to support it. This works out perfectly, as it is those people who's ideas will be most inline with what we want the brand to represent.

ScoobyNet - Because you can't park in the office!
I think the e-mail facility would be a good idea too, username@scoobynet.com (plus this would be another incentive to join!).
If anyone has any ideas that would look good animated, I could have a go at doing them in Flash.

Apart from the obvious clothing and caps etc -a mouse mat,pens, placemats, umbrellas, bags ,cups/mugs ...................still thinking.
