Thought I was lucky when I blagged some tickets to watch the F1 at Silverstone at the weekend........................................... MY GOD HOW BORING!!
What is wrong with F1 fans??
How do they find it exciting??
I think they should all watch bikes maybe they would appreciate proper racing and value for money!!
Rant over.

You must have been somewhere different to me. I was there all 3 days, the atmosphere was electric, the weather was good (although a bit cold), and there was some superb racing going on in all the races, (even the classics). As for the F1 cars, it's worth going just for the noise and spectacle of the cars. Although not much was happening at the front, there was some good dicing going on in the midfield :)
Personally I enjoyed it just as much as the British Superbikes I went to a few weeks earlier (at the same circuit).

I was in a grandstand at Club corner....indeed the only overtaking was on this corner??
Most exciting thing was the Ferrari starting at the back so He actually had to overtake some cars
I agree the cars are a spectacle but once seen thats enough for me.
You should try going to see moto gp and spend the weekend at Brands for the World Superbikes then see if your still an F1 fan??

Not sure about that, (I can't remember where all the overtakes were). There were lots of failed attempts, locking wheels etc around luffield / brooklands though (where I was sat). A great battle between Couthard and Button for example...

I have, and yes I'm still an F1 fan, (I'm also a big motogp and bsb fan) :)
The F1 cars are not the only part of the weekend. There was some great racing in the GP2, Porsche Supercup and classics. Did you not watch those as well? If you don't like F1 then fair enough, but 90,000 other people at the circuit seemed to like it ;)
