Just a quick note to say well done to Simon on yesterdays rally at Croft. Nice to see someone prepared to give 100% in a rearwheel drive car other than a mark 2 escort! The battle between the 6R4 and the Group A Impreza was interesting to watch to compare old a new technology. There were plenty of Scoobs there both competing and in the car park. Not sure of the final results as none were posted at the track. Perhaps Simon could enlighten us...

Hi Mark
Thanks for that :)
The results I know are :
1st : David Henderson (car 10) *GROUP N!!* Evo 4 (great result)
2nd : David Brown (car 8) 4WD Puma EVO
3rd : Tony Bardy (car 5) Sunny GTiR (Top bloke, helped us get the restrictor sorted)
Sorry I don't have any more. Thanks for coming along, I hope it was worth the cold! :D
All the best
Simon

Oh!.. also
John Bogie (Metro 6R4) would have won by 25 seconds if it wasn't for a 5 minute penalty for a Wrong Direction on SS3 (I know a co-driver that got a right rollocking :D

Or another driver that doesn't know "my left" from "your left" perhaps?;)

LOL :D
Nah.. it would definitely have been the co-driver's fault!! :D ;)

Just found out the real reason, and it's a little bit of a shame actually...
There was a really thoughtlessly placed (IMHO) split junction which was a tight right hander off the main straight (where cars from lap one are going straight on and lap two turns right), John slightly overshot this junction (probably due to a bad call!!! ;) :D ) then had to either reverse or spin round by the sounds of it.
Cheers
Simon
