looks like you've got some holes to fill as well.
what have you used so far to remove them? i'd start by using some apc left to soak for 5 mins, then wash off with a good shampoo and mit. then rinse. dry with micro fibre then clay. start with a megs qd kit. you can always try a more aggressive clay later. if you don't want to try a more aggressive clay try some t cut or scratch x if you don't want to spend a lot. personally i'd recommend menzerna intensive polish. if that doesn't shift it then power gloss. have you got a pc or rotary that you can use on it?
where about's are you?
the holes are being sorted as we speak. :thumb:
i am in west sussex. will give your ideas a go and let you know how it goes. :thumb:

how are the holes being sorted? it might be that the area will be wet sanded anyway and get rid of the problem for you. which would be a bonus.
I am not getting the holes filled in as im not sure that i wont change back to the origianl one day so have put some bolts to fit back where the holes are instead of the tape the previous owner put on, sprayed them black to blend in, they look suprisingly ok :)

nice idea. i've used rubber gromits from halfords before. seems to do the trick and a damn site cheaper. :thumb:

As above, chances are the area will need to be polished hard by machine or even wetsanded then machined to fully remove the marks (if strong chemical cleaners and claying have had no effect). Do you have a machine polisher?
