as in title, I know theres clubs in both Sheff and then the WYIOC but how do you join or whatever?

Jimmy.. you won't go wrong joining any of the local setups...

Each one will have different doo's, runs, events and personalities on offer (though I do believe the South Yorks lot are a little uglier than us, but not as Ugly as the SMACS lot ) so it's horses for courses to see which one is best suited to you and what you want...

So check out both areas, say hi, post and get involved

There's nowt wrong with going to as many clubs as you want either...

by the way how many members did you say you had???

 

We do not need to scramble people will do as they want to. We are a new club yes,But we will build our members up and will make it work as a family club.There is no need to start this about clubs there are so many of them and we are entitled to have a club?/ thanks for your input

O dear its started already CLUB WARS why dont you all meet up have a big boxing ring and fight it out for the best club in yorkshire or better still meet at a drag strip and have a club against club shootout for club champions trophy now that would be more fun than bitching like kids about, my clubs bigger than your club.

No, nothing has started.. what you'll find is ONE person putting something right and a better half reacting to a comment that they read (most probably incorrectly as a sarky comment) about a scramble for members.. Though it's plainly obvious people were just being friendly and offering advice... ... what you've failed to notice is many people (from at least 3 clubs) wishing them all the best...

No club around here has to prove anything...who gives a toss if 1, 20 or 60 new clubs start up... With 10, 10,000 or a friggin million members.

I'm pretty sure any club would be happy to just to have a few members who really enjoyed their cars and themselves...

THAT's what it's all about... Get with the programme people and stop tossing around acting like kids......

Only thing that's bang to rights is them SMACS lads being ugly...

(They know I love em to bits )

 

Good and fair point mate and i agree Ive been looking to join a club for a while now and all i ever hear is tittle tattle about this one said that etc and it puts me off cos all i want to do is have a good time, But a club shootout would be so cool if everyone got together for one day or a full weekend at a dragstrip and have a great time someone should organise this

What you do see between mature and friendly clubs is a good level of banter and pi55 taking....

If you're ugly, then the SMACS are for you...
If you're fairly ugly, then South Yorks is a definite..
But if you're often mistaken for Brad Pitt or George Clooney then I believe you'll find the WYIOC the place to be....

(I'm making sure I get all this in before they all wake up tomorrow and give me a slap...)

Well im a geordie living in barnsley so i guess im confused maybe between fairly & Brad so maybe i should start my own club and call it BTFUBIOC told you i was confused

We already have an upcoming event for all the clubs.....8lyton on Sept 15th. Pete'n'Andy are gonna recruit the SMACS boys and I'm sure Marcus will motivate the S.Yorks crowd (whatever happened to Cheesy & Bobcat ). As always it will be open to all.

 

Take no notice of him, I think my new piercings look rather trendy
