Hello.

First time poster in this section

So, I have recently purchased the above piece of software from my Intel iMac. Seems initially very good, but after 1 hour of tutorial I am bored sh1tless

SO - can a user, if there are any , give me half a dozen commands, or tips when using this software. My only experience is iMovie HD which I pretty much mastered.

Don't quite know what you're after. I use Final Cut Pro btw......

The best thing is to go and get footage, and meddle!

I have spent a bit of time on it now, slowly getting to grips - it seems a little less user friendly than iMovie, but certainly a lot more flexible, and I figure a nice halfway house between that and the Pro version

 

Yeh, it's got a much more vertical learning curve!!! But it is SOOOO much better than I-Movie (which is ok for domestic use - certainly better than Widows Movie Maker )

I use imovie and its fine for my needs, nice and easy the way I like it!
