i have changed the front anti roll bar links on my 2004 wrx to cure a knocking noise.
does anyone know why the new ones were about 1/2 -3/4 of an inch longer than the old ones? i was assured they are the correct ones for my car,i fitted them without problem and the noise has gone.

the only thing i can think is they have been modified to increase the clearence between anti roll bar and the subframe.:wonder:

has anyone else come across this before?
