According to the website, one died, the other s fighting for his life. Frankly, after seeing that, I don't fancy his chances! :( As I said on the other thread, I just feel sorry for the poor sod he crashed into!

Looks to me like the susuki rider was on the wong side of the road, crossed a solid wht line trying to do a silly overtake, while trying to keep up with some other guy.

Poor R1 rider was just minding his own business and had nothing to do with him getting killed or the accident other than buying and owning a bike. :nono:

I'd aggree oncoming bike had nothing to do with the accident, the Gixxer rider went in too wide, wrong approach to the bend, should have been wide in narrow out, left him self no room for error, when was put off by the close shave with the first bike made abad decision to sit up and from then the only way was outward collecting bike 2 to fatal results. Bike 2 had no chance... Sad...
Number one rule, never be still going outward fully commited on a bend, see people do this all the time and its fatal... first thing i leant on a bike and it hold true for the car also, see so many drivers dive OUT to overtake insteady of being out and first and aiming back in if you know what i mean, sure the ones with brains do, i.e. must on here.:thumb:

Dont race other bikes or cars.

Do get out on the bike and get some experience.

Smoothness and observation is the key to good road riding.

been riding bikes off-road since i was 8 and on-road since 16, and i'm now 40, I don't trust any cnut! If you think they might pull out they will!

70 kmh posted limit and he was doing around 130. I reckon when he just missed that first bike his @rse must have just finished the first row of the pair of socks it was knitting then it was good night and adios. What a tosser. Fair play, if you're tired of living then go and kill yourself but don't involve other people.

I really hope they use that video to good effect in court and hang the muthafcuker out to dry.

Most things don't get to me but that did just because the R1 rider had no chance. It looked like the R1 had tried to take some kind of evasive action but it was over so quickly he maybe had a few tenths to see and react to the gsxr rider. Very sad to see.

I'm struggling to see how you figure that, the only thing the guy on the R1 did wrong was decide to go for a ride on that road that day:(

If it was the guy on the Gixxer that survived I hope they aren't wasting state medical treatment on him:mad:

That is what happens when you think you are invincible...if you ride like a dick at least have the decency to crash into a tree and not another innocent biker :(

It also shows car drivers are not the only enemy on the road for bikers, other bikers are to!

Same accident could have happened in a car though. how many times have we seen things on here with chavs racing just because you are in a subaru and over taking on blind bends?

First bike near miss just paniced him and instinct took his eye off the road standing the bike up. You will go where you look and the next problem is both those guys would have been staring right at each other. Tragic and as usual the innocent party comes off worst.

Taking your eye's off the road does not make the bike stand up, Braking hard does which i guess thats what he did after the scare with the first biker, Target fixation exists though a friend of mine dropped his RD125LC (years ago) on a bend bounced onto the pavement and into the wall but was pretty much ok, His mate riding behind him hit the lampost about six feet from him and was seriously injured.

from what i seen in the video suprised me how far over he was leaning his bike just after pulling onto the road from when the bike was stationary as the tyres wouldnt of been warmed up and the roads looked wet and he was crossing slippery white lines.
the guy made a mistake and paid dearly for it even if hes still alive as he would have that on his conscious for the rest of his life.....weve all made mistakes and we learn from them unfortunately some people dont get a second chance.
watching that video brings home how dangerous biking is!!
