How much would be looking to pay for a bike battery incl fitting?
My mate has been charged £79 quid, is this right??
He has only had the bike for 3 weeks, and it wouldn't start after it had been for a run out, sounded like starter solinoid. So he took it back and their first dig was the same, they have replaced the batt and charged the above. Which is not covered on the warrenty.
What you think?

Sounds about right on the price, though obviously without knowing the bike details it's a little difficult to be certain...

But if it was, say, a GSX-R 750 then that's around what you should expect to pay.

Whether it should have been under warranty is another matter, though...

Ive never paid anymore than £40 for a battery, ive been quoted £60 for a battery for the busa before, a little shopping around soon bought that down.

They've chucked him a good hours labour on top of that for a 5 minute job.

aye £40 tops for battery and removing the seat and undoing 2 nuts doesn't justify a fitting charge of more than a fiver.
