Can anyone advise what the standard spring rates are on the 06/07 STi?

You'll probably get more info on the american sites such as NASIOC and IWSTI - but do the US and UK models have the same suspension?

A quick look on nasioc found spring rates of 39F/34R N/mm which seems about right. However there's a lot more to suspension than spring-rate - why do you want to know. Are you thinking of returning to stock suspension?

Sorry for delay in response. I have the Spec D (which had a horrendously harsh ride on standard suspension as does the STi) and gone with the AST Stage 3 suspension kit but it does not feel right in that the springs do not seem to be able to cope.

I have spoken with Curtis who is willing to change the 50/30 N/mm springs to 60/40 but do not want to go back to the hard uncompromising ride. I wondered how they compared with standard in order to help a decision.

So, if anyone could advise the definitive spring rates of the standard 06/07 STi I would appreciate it.

spring rates are only part of the story so you wont get a true comparison even if you do get the figures.

FWIW there's a lot of criticism on the US forums about the harsh ride of the newer Stis and the consensus seems to be that the bumpstops are largely to fault as the car is sitting on them at static and they have an unusually unprogressive characteristic. Modern foam stops are usually very soft on first contact but these apparently are not.

It would be an interesting experiment to slightly shorten and taper the stops.
