This is a very very common problem with internet policies!!!

I believe that when you put in the reg it picks up whatever the DVLA registered the car as, and lots (if not most) of the WRX's and STI's were registered as the GL (ie non-turbo) models....which is what the companies have the vehicle insured as.

Would get straight on the phone to them to see what they have the vehicle insured as

 

its got next to it though 1994cc so did they make a gl in 2l

well rang insurance about sending my proposal form back which has mistakes on, was told to cross them out, pencil correct answers and initiAl them b4 signing. such as sed i bought my car 1997 but only bought 3 dAYs ago, nowt major really. asked the woman and she sed send a copy of my log book which dont have yet she sed its gi and not gl. a m8 reckons grey import?

 

could it not be spec level? i know the jdm sti's come in 2 versions - a gl that has all the trimmings and a lesser spec'ed version with fewer goodies

 

dont no m8 was askin u lot as i not too clued up about them as much as u guys
