All the old names, have disappered
Steve Lawson
Graham at GDA
Barrets Canterbury
Xtreame scoobys - Essex
Subaru 4 you - Newbury
Both the above have good reputations - but are a little far.
Anyone know of a good outfit that really know what they are doing in Kent-Sussex
JollyGreenMonster - has a good rep for mapping -but I take it that he focuses on this speciality.
Interested to see who people use?
Thanks
Steve

Vince at RDS in Hastings has a good rep.
does alot of Scoobs and various Jap stuff. All his work is through word of mouth.
Some of his clients include P1 Hill climb Car, Very high mileage 22B, Spec C etc..etc.... he always seem to have a scoob of one sort or another on the go....
I certainly use him for all those Job's I can't be bothered with.
PM me if you need a number.

Sad to see Graham isn't at GDA any longer :( Bloody good chap and a bloody good place.
What about Mike Rivett @ Rivett Autos (http://www.rivettautos.co.uk/) - They are based in Cranleigh, Surrey, and I'm fairly sure few of the Sussex chaps use them. Worth popping over to Sussex Scoobies (http://www.sussexscoobies.co.uk/forums/) and asking on there (if you're not already registered there) as well.

I thought Barretts Motorsport (not to be confused with main dealer) were still up and running? Took my STi there this time last year but have moved away since then?:wonder:

I was under the impression that they had disappeared. Last time I was in Canterbury. I may be wrong?
Can anyone confirm or deny this - just to put the record straight?

Yes he knew his stuff. I take it he is not in your part of Canada now Markus?
Are you running a scoob out there? Not a black wagon covered in dents I take it :)

I needed a stamp in my service book for a service I had before I sold my wrx so had to nip to Barretts Motorsport as they did it for me.
The premises were all locked up so I rang the number and got redirected to another number. :Suspiciou
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I found Phil the boss lurking up in the parts department who told me that the servicing is still done by them but over in the main building and not to worry as Subaru servicing is still done by the "rally techs". However, I know that Karl the mechanic left to go and work for the AA. :(
Still, the dealer stamped my book up no questions....:wonder:
Nige.
In the same situation, so using Walldonway service currently. :Whatever_

Try Dean Larkins (Deano666) who runs his own mobile business - Larkins Automotive Services - based in Sittingbourne area - he's done a lot of work for Kent club members and used to run a scooby until recently . Contact details : home 01795 436552 mobile 07950 953824 - tell him we recommended him - he'll stamp your service book as well

As mentioned Dean @ Larkins Automotive Services is very good..
or if you need something bigger doing (ie. cannot be done by Dean as he is mobile mechanic) needing a ramp etc.. then www.sw-autos.co.uk originally a volvo garage but branched into jap stuff in a big way.. I do their mapping.. (skylines, scoobs, volvos.. lol)
