My first bike event. Compared to cars, they're tricky blighters - smaller, more agile. All taken with 30D & Sigma 100-300 f4, some with x1.4 TC, some without. I'm not a huge bike fan (although I quite like watching Suzi Perry in leathers [ahem]), but just saw it was on so went along.

There really is a track, honest. Maybe Dr. Palmer needs to mow the grass. Taken near the Bombhole where the bikes bottom out going into a dip. Can throw off the unwary rider. My wife is an occassional first aider at Snett and tells me quite a lot of bikers come off here.

White bike of unknown type exiting Corum. I've never been so far round on the outside of the circuit. I'll try this for cars one day. Thankfully there was a crossing point on the start/finish straight between races.

This is probably my favourite. I held my breath and ventured into the writhing mass of bikers watching at Russell's. I couldn't stay long it was far to crowded here - normally I just wander around the circuit, but to get the best spots today you needed to get there early and grab your territory (and defend it!)

There was some action on the Podium. The 'Bennets Babes' got a little wet and sticky. I've know idea who the riders are. Maybe I should have bought a programme...

Probably. Quite a few were flaming on the overrun, but the Suzukis were the best (or worst) for it, and always did a series of little flames, then a big one (which I caught). Shame I was miles away and was using 1.6 crop camera at 300mm with an additional x1.4 converter. The image has been cropped down as well.
