Tried to sort a few rust spots on the roof on saturday (Not a good idea)
Bought a colour match from halfruds totally wrong colour!!
Car went into the body shop today for a full roof respray,
Mrs thinks i F**ked it up on purpose as i have been going on about having it done for a while.
Will be getting it back tomrrow all done, and all for £120 (stuff from halfruds cost £30) oh well done now.

Was talking to the mrs about doing the cam cover gaskets, she thinks i'll do the same with that to get a rebuild.

Picked the car up to day top job done happy again now

 

Funny that, my mrs has just said the same, got a service last week and they said the exhaust was blowing from the centre pipe which had a CAT & a RESONATOR , and i have wanted to get rid of said 'CAT' since we have had the car so when i told her she told me i was taking the p1ss , anyway all done now and she is sounding Good and the mrs likes it more now happy days.

 

Where did you get it done mate.?

 

Mine is cool about that kind of stuff and was alright about the stainless exhaust + remap, Eibach lowering springs, tinted glass and new 18" alloys last year.
However with most women there was a catch (but only 1 small condition), that it was my own money and that it did'nt jeopodise our lifestyle which I was cool with
