have just put on the newage 17" alloys on my my94 with 215/45 17s on and with two people in the back it is all a bit too easy to rub the tyres on the arches over bumps at moderate speed. also with just me in on bumpy corners the fronts rub if i am going fast. demon tweeks do some thingy that sits in the springs and limits their compression. is this a good idea. or is a stiffer suspension steup the way forward(although i don't really want to go harder) or shall i just put lower profiles on when these run out.

Hi, you need 215/40's on there mate. Also take the rubber edge off the lip and it should give enough clearance. I have 215/40 and prodrive handling pack(billies & eibachs) and mine rubbed untill i took rubber off mate. The only wheels that wont rub without rubber off if you have lowered it are the original Speedlines that came with the PPP that I had on it at first as offset is different. Cheers Ade
