I've been asked to work the weekend of the Dragon....

First time in 4 years I've missed the rally. Gutted....

I'll be out on Epynt this weekend though! I don't think I'm going to bother with a camera this year though... It'll be nice to see you lot at full chat without looking through a tiny viewfinder!!!

Best of luck to all on the Red Dragon, wish I was there!!!!

Cheers.

Jon.

Useful to have stage start times for all stages on the website, but has anyone got details of where Pelenna and Resolven are being run this year? GRs for stage start and finish would be great. PM me if easier.

Thank you.

Cheers, Nick.

If small acts of kindness were rewarded by good runs, you'd certainly be in for a good run. Anyway, it's probably too late now for you to read this before the event, but I hope that by the time you do, you will have had a good day and finished higher than your already very high starting number.

Many thanks,

Andrew

Bad day at the office !!

Lost 5th gear on stage 3 and then 4th gear as well on stage 5. Dropped shed loads of time and finished 6th o/a. That having been said would not have been on the pace of Dodd or Burton, and probably not Weston either.

Lots of retirements though so just glad we made it to the finish - gearbox out already ready to go off on Monday for another rebuild.

Nick

p.s. if anyone has a picture of us nearly getting our feet wet in Walters Arena this morning I would appreciate it - apparently it was very close !!!

Another great run for Alex! Thought you got fastest time on the last stage by a considerable margin, but the live results were wrong!:lol1:

I was Co-Driving Car 37 so if anyone has any pics of us it would be nice to see them ;)

My God there were some bloody quick cars and crews out!!! :notworthy

Has anyone got the confirmed results for O/A and In Class please? I had to shoot straight off and the Red Dragon web site hasn't posted any.

Cheers

Mass,
Go to 2007 Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series - Home (http://www.btrdarally.co.uk) and click on live results. Then Click Red Dragon, You'll see all the results there.

Yes Mark, I had an Excellent day. Pushed hard all day, but i feel my downfall was running on the same set of tyres all day, hence losing a load of time on SS5 and SS6.
Pleased with Result, but a throphy would of been nice. Only 6 seconds between me and David Howells who clawed it back over the last two to claim that 3rd Spot. 2nd was only a matter of seconds ahead of David.

I dont think i done too bad in my dated car tho. !! Proper GpN eh mark ! :lol1:

Dukeries next. !

Good result for you Alex, well done.

Had a bloody awful morning, 2 big overshoots and an off in three stages. First one was the uphill hairpin left about a mile into SS1 where the logging had been going on, completely lost it under braking and ended up making the specatators run for cover up the escape road. Stalled it, wouldn't start, reversed 20 yds and got going again, lost just short of 15 seconds on that one. SS2 I was unsighted on a deceptive L6 over crest, bonnet scoop blotted out the road and I ended up driving straight off it, another 10 secs ditched! SS3 was a L3 into L3, unfortunately there was an escape road on the second L3 which I realised too late wasn't the route as the second L3 emerged in Andy's window, stopped, reversed and about another 8 or so secs gone.

Confidence at an all time low going into SS4 but we emerged clean at the other end, albeit slow!

5 and 6 were an improvement, 6 being the best with fastest Group N and joint 4th fastest o/a.

Just one of them days I guess, booking an eye test this week to make sure it's not me!:freak3:

Could have been worse, lucky to get away with the off on SS2. I'm now sat second in the Overall and Group N championships and Andy is leading just about everything by a country mile but we'll have to do something about Tristan soon before it's too late.

Sorry to hear about your gearbox Nick, not sure it's the corner you're on about but there is a good pic on the BritishRally forum, here (http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7681/brfnichollscj5.jpg)
