The story so far..

Churchill "guaranteed" to beat my renewal quote. Which they failed to do, miserably.

"Quote me happy" were amazed I didn't try to make sweet love to them down the phone when they quoted me £200 over what I am already paying.

Greenlight weren't too bad - £50 over what I am currently paying. With a lower excess

And just now, A-Plan, who I assumed knew a bit about cars, just told me, and I quote: "Your UK Turbo isn't a UK car because all Subarus in the UK made before 2004 are imports."

Update.

A-Plan rang me back from a different branch and explained how different branches tend to deal with different cars. He explained that the guy I had spoke to previously didn't have much knowledge of Imprezas and assumed that it was an import.

We then went through a few odds and sods and the new guy came back with a very competitive quote.


Well done A-plan.

 

Yep A plan for me as well, beat my renewal by 600 quid!!
