Default Greenlight Insurance !!!

From all accounts on here everyone seems to be very happy with this company and indeed so am I. Just got a quote recently and am going with it no matter what. Having said that though, its only in the event of a payout/claim where an insurance company really shows its true colours, so on that note has anyone on here ever been in the unfortunate position of having to make a claim through these guys and if so how did you find them ? Just curious I suppose...... but again they seem to be very honest and helpful !!!!

Cheers !

Ricky !

Hi Ricky,

Our claims frequency is just under 20%, which effectively means that 1 in 5 of our customers claims every year.

Having dealt within the specialist vehicle community since 1996 and for the last 6-7 years upon forums, if our Insurers had performed badly you would have seen the forums littered with abuse in this regard.

One added point is that as your broker we work with you (& for you) when dealing with your policy, so if you do ever experience difficulty you'll have both our back-up and impartial advice whenever dealing with the Insurer (including at the point of presenting or processing a claim).

Kind regards

Tony

I made a claim back in december 2004 with them, (a guy ran in the back of me and then denied it, although he had signed a letter stating he had!).
My renewal came through in march 2005 and the claim had'nt been finalised, and it had more than doubled even though I had no claims protection.
Needless to say I went on to get all my money back off the third party and didn't go back to greenlight.
Obviously I may be the only one who has experienced this kind of service, but as you said, its only in the event of a claim do you know how good the insurance/broker are?!?!

Greenlight are a very good broker, and you'll get an excellent service from them

(Hopefully that should mean a lot coming from one of their competitors)
