Chaps,
Metallic inconsistent 'jingle' sound coming from my car when travelling, mainly with 4 adults. Kids usually eat crisps, talking or fighting which drowns out the noise on other journeys.
Difficult to tell whether front or rear of car, continues when clutch is depressed, brakes not binding/rubbing, nothing obvious with limited investigation.
Cornering or braking doesn't appear to influence it
Not ongoing, hear it for a few seconds, disappears and then returns, not wind noise as it can be heard at relative low speeds also. It would give you the impression that something metal is vibrating in the engine bay however, there does't appear to be!
Any pointers?
Cheers
