:eek2: looks like him and the Board had a little fisticuffs over whether to sell to the Americans :o

However if he wanted the club to sell to the Americans then I am glad he has gone as the rest of the Board don't want to sell and thats how it should be. I think there is more to it than this though so will have to wait and see what materialises as this is a massive development for the club. Be glad to see the back of this season to be honest and hope next season is a lot more prosperous.

Hostile takeover on the cards.

Well it seems the opposite, the Board are reported to all have a mutual agreement to turn down any offer for their shares for the next year and after that they still have no intention of selling. Dein wanted to sell and I guess he got the ar$e over not being allowed to sell. If Arsenal is/was so important to him though I can't understand why he was so adamant on selling the club to an American  Doesn't really add up.

when he sold a chunk of shares to danny fitzman the rumour was that he needed the money...maybe this is behind this deal. however dein has always been an arsenal boy, (he chose wenger) so there must be more to it..

The rest of the board are probably just holding out for more money.

How long before they move the premiership to America (and a breakaway league for the smaller clubs in Russia) :)

Now he's gone, does that mean the end of Arsenal's preferential treatment from the FA, allegedly:D
