Might need a bike to commute to work on, only a 15 mile journey, but it the other side of the City, so driving would take upto an hour.

Ive got two bikes in mind. Nothing sporty but practical.
Need some advice on the one to go for.


First is a 2005 - NEW Suzuki GSF 650 with delivery miles.

Or a Pre Reg 06 - 400 mile GSR 600 (this is about another £600 over the top of the other bike)

What one should I go for ??

The GSR is a cracking bike - it handles, makes a great noise, is as comfortable as you like and is great in town.

It will hold its value better.

The Bandit is also good but it's lacking in sparkle compared to the GSR. If it's the half faired version then it does win on practicality. But it's old technology, an ancient engine and build quality isn't as good as on some other Suzukis - it's very much built to a budget.

They're both good bikes, so bottom line is to go for whichever you prefer, but if it was my money then I'd get the GSR...
