Can anyone recomend some insurance companies to try?

I have a DD40 and an IN10 (Dangerous driving and no insurance)

Before you all go off the handle at me for driving dangerously with no ins, let me explain.

Yes, I was driving too fast and I was punished. I received a yrs ban and 6mnths later I recieved the IN10 and 8pts for the car sitting at my door with no insurance. I WAS NOT DRIVING IT.

That was almost 3 yrs now and I've just bought an MY99 Impreza turbo with ecutek upgrade.
My premium is £930 f/c with a tracker (which I dont have yet) I'm 29 with 6yrs ncb.
Purchasing a tracker, fitting and subscription will cost over £600 so I'm looking for a company that could insure me without one for about £1000-£1200?

Try elephant as they don't require a tracker. They were best for me when I first started with a Scoob and I had 6 points - 6yr NCD.
