Just laid some self adhesive backed fllor tiles but they haven't stuck to the cement floor very well im worried they may lift can anyone recommend an adhesive that will stick to dusty/slightly damp in parts floor thanks

Contact adhesive. Few years ago I asked a contractor on site the same question & he gave me a tub of something called Styccobond F60, but I think it was just the same as any other contact adhesive available.
