Deep Singh 14 April 2007, 20:01 Phil, yeah I'm the not the worlds best planner!
The lounge/dining room were stalled. I decided not to persevere with the paper I showed you. The new stuff was out of stock for 6 weeks. Arrives soon and then work recommences. I'll let you know how I get on
*Jamie* 14 April 2007, 20:10 Looks good Ds:thumb:
rooferman 14 April 2007, 20:18 Its gonna be nice and tight under those window cills for lathes/tile and flashing....
Deep Singh 14 April 2007, 20:34 Thanks Jamie.
Rooferman, not quite sure what you mean but the ceiling inside will be sloped at the end.
Janspeed 14 April 2007, 20:56 Materials don't look quite right........might not last long.:nono:
Huxley 14 April 2007, 21:58 Getting there Ds but before you finish the floor put some pipes in it for the cables for your speakers so that you can move things around later if need be then no need to see the cables if you get them near the skirting boards :thumb:
salsa-king 14 April 2007, 22:42 Its gonna be nice and tight under those window cills for lathes/tile and flashing....
I see what you mean, how can DS get over that problem?

Already sorted except they're being hidden in the ceiling:thumb:
Deep Singh 14 April 2007, 22:56 I see what you mean, how can DS get over that problem?
Can someone explain what the problem is please?:wonder:
salsa-king 14 April 2007, 23:04 I think the concern is that when you fit the roof tiles you need al ead flashing against the wall/over the top of the tiles, the bottom of the window sills are very close to the top of the wood roof as it is now. Leaving not much room to fit the flashing.
Janspeed 15 April 2007, 00:44 Easy with all that low quality material, no probs!!
rooferman 15 April 2007, 09:45 Which roof tile are you using for the pitch on this roof.....
Its just a bit tight for a profiled tile (ie bold roll) which would have an upstand of about 90mm + the lathe of 25mm and then youv,e got to get flashing under the upstairs window cills....it can be done but we would usually have to construct a lead window box under the cill which is a pain...
What is the pitch ???
Deep Singh 15 April 2007, 18:22 I see what you mean now. The tiles and flashing are all on now! As you said it is tight. I'll post some pics when I get time
skoobidude 15 April 2007, 20:18 Deep, when you're using photobucket use the IMG CODE instead of the URL to paste images. That will make the pictures show up rather than us having to click all the links :thumb:
