I have got a roll of new worktop edging. Just need to take old damaged stuff off. How do you apply the new stuff? No more nails? Iron?

Also what is best way to 'round' and shape it on the end?

Cheers

I use contact adhesive, and then file it to shape with a metal file..... might be do-able with a sanding block too....

same here, although i trimmed the curve with stanley kife (new blade of course :) ) before filing just to make the job a bit quicker

To be honest, i do that aswell, i just didn't mention it due to the fact that if not 'stanley trained;)' the knife can slip!

If it's edging from Howdens, it's probably iron on. If not then contact ahesive.

Yup contact adhesive but I then used a router to trim the edges.
