Inverness a good place to stop to break the journey up/ coulty 26 March 2007, 12:22 5.5-6 hours without stopping and with not too much traffic! scotthldr 26 March 2007, 18:53 2.5 to 3 hrs from Inverness to Wick depending on traffic and roadworks, quite a few on the A9 at the moment. Also be on the lookout for Northern Constabulary, although we don't have any speed cameras up here they do have a high presence on the road with both marked and unmarked cars and the safety camera van can be found anywhere on the A9 GazTheHat 27 March 2007, 11:17 2.5 to 3 hrs from Inverness to Wick depending on traffic and roadworks, quite a few on the A9 at the moment. I'll be in the chug-power and with family, so no hooning. I think we'll stay in Inverness then, do the rest the next day. Unless i can get a DVD player for a steal with Balamory/Me Too on loop for my girl. :norty: sandycam 29 March 2007, 08:47 2.5 to 3 hrs from Inverness to Wick depending on traffic and roadworks, quite a few on the A9 at the moment. I can easily make from thurso to ness in under 2 hours without breaking 70mph and obeying all town limits, and thats a little bit further and theres a bus that takes 3 hours with a dozen stops and various little detours so you should be quicker than that! Also worth a look but not the definitive list. Northern Safety Camera Partnership (http://www.nscp.co.uk/cameras.php) GazTheHat 29 March 2007, 10:57 Sound, i wont be stonking it anyway.
