Just in case anyone was wondering about whether there will be a BRC Live 2007, I got this response today from the BRC Media coordinator:

The launch of the 2007 Tesco 99 Octane MSA British Rally Championship will be in Birmingham City centre in mid April.
We are working towards a parade or BRC Live type event for 2008 but this year is likely to be a static display.

It was felt that the date of BRC Live before the start of the season meant that predicted poor weather was likely to discourage spectators
We are, however, looking at dates later in the year for BRC Live to run alongside an existing event.
Venues currently under review are: Rallyday, The Chatsworth Rally Show and Goodwood.

At first glance this seems a bit disappointing. Static displays are all well and good, but rallying is flat out and sideways. I thought last year's BRC Live was excellent - can't they do something like that again?
