Alrighty I know its going to be difficult - national loyalty aside

Which would you choose ?

I been offered either of these with less than 700 miles on each on for exactly the same price - so price is not a factor

I had a TT600 in the past and it was in all honesty crap ! ! !
The jerky throttle response was horrendous - the handling was sweet for sure. is the 675 that much better ?

I am not in the league of the superbike knee down all the time riders - I do enjoy trackdays and am quite happy to not be the fastest (put me in a scoob with some crash protection and it changes somewhat) ie real world riding

Whats your views on this ?

I didn't try a 675, but I think they look great. I just picked up a K7 750 on 01 March and love it already. The 675 was tempting, but its just not as much bike as the 750 for a similar price IMHO.

The 675 is a cracking bike, it's true. A noise to die for, sublime handling and some rarity value. Plus, as you say, it's British. :thumb:

Is that enough?

Well as a cynical old motorcycle journalist I spent my own hard-earned on...a 2007 GSX-R 750 and three union flag stickers.

Does that answer the question?

Personally, if I could get on a sportsbike without either it or the wife killing me, my money would go on the Triumph every time for 3 reasons

1/ IMO it is the best looking bike to have emerged from any 'mainstream' manufacturer in years:cool:

2/ That noise:thumb:

3/ To disinter that oldest of old cliches yet again, at the end of the day Gixxers are like clitorii;)

The GSXR 750 is the better, no if buts or maybes. The triumph has not got the power or build quailty.
What I does have is looks, is that enough?
