The manual does say drain the carbs if storing, obviously I never bothered !
What sort of a job is it to strip and clean ?

If it's just over winter i would not bother as long as it runs fine.....which there is a 99% chance it will. Del wakeboardar 09 March 2007, 18:51 my fireblade would not start after a 2 years in the garage changed the plugs and we were off 51st state 09 March 2007, 22:45 with four strokes its usually not that bad:) my lazy way, put some fresh petrol in the tank with some redex in, drain the carbs so new fuel gets to carb:thumb: then buy some eazi start:thumb: :lol1: spray into airfilter while turning over , it will fire then , leaverunning , should be ok after a while running:thumb: works perfect on all my mowers and bikes:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: other than that its carbs off and astrip down:razz: |
