Best JDM insurance - your opionion

I'm looking at importing a JDM Spec C, S203 or STi and was wondering what your experience was - good or bad.

I have a classic jdm sti and i have been under chris knott insurance for years

Full ncb protected no convictions £430 tpft £350 excess

just had a quote off a-plan £495 f/c, and my renewal came in today at £580, think i might change. thats for a 2001 sti-7, 34 with 5 yrs ncb
