Im still toying with the idea of getting a newage STI instead of WRX and am wanting to know if the heater controls would be able to be swapped over from the older looking controls to the newer circular style controls?

not without swapping the entire dash centre console fella,i am fitting my06 centre console tomorrow,got it all except the sti gear surround from a subaru breakers for £100

The heater/aircon unit for the my05> retails at £550 on its own from a dealer add on to that the heater dials at £90,and all the plastic panels/centre box/hand brake panel/side panels/ash tray etc etc etc and it comes to £1200 inc vat from a subaru dealer

i dare say you could "custom fit some replacement dials,as they just click on,just a case of finding some that fit the holes and correct size for attaching
