Well for once I dont mind being old;)
I was into rallying big time when group B hit the world championship so having seen all of these cars up close in action was mind blowing:eek:
I'm afraid today its more office hours rallying and trying to milk as much money as poss out of the poor spectator:nono:
I long for the days when you could just park on the side of the road walk into any part of any wood and watch the action:D
The good old days are gone:cry:
Brill Vid John, it brings back a lot of fond memories:thumb:

Yes they did:eek: and when loads started getting killed it had got out of hand.
The first car in the clip AUDI s1 was a real beast between 600 - 700bhp:eek:
What a white knuckle ride that must of been:cuckoo:
At the time they were doing back to back tests with F1 cars at some of the circuits in europe and the rally cars could do a lap time that would equal 4th on the grid at a GP.:thumb:
NOW THATS MOTORING:cool:

cars used to get to the end of stages with human fingers stuck in the grills where plonks had leaned out to touch the car!
