AFAIK it's just a standard flasher unit, and you ought to be able to get one over the counter at most carshops.

If it helps, the original on mine (98 car) was under the dash high up on the driver's side.

Do you mean that the unit is a universal-fit one that's designed for virtually all modern cars?... Can I get one from a typical motor-factors outlet?

When you say under the dash, do you mean behind the grey plastic panel that is located underneath the steering column and in-line with the dashboard? Is this straight-forward to remove and is it easy to get access to the relay?

Thanks.

To your first question, yes, it's standard generic part.

In answer to your second question, it's really high up under the dash, fixed to the front bulkhead, driver's side. I had to change mine for a towing relay, (), and getting to it was a nightmare. Fusebox pulled right out as far as it would go, me on my back upside down in driver's seat, and even with small hands, my wrist ended up slightly cut removing it:D I also broke it off it's mounting. The new one is held in by electrician's tape wrapped round it and part of the loom.

Add to that, there's IIRC THREE up there, and finding out which you want without being able to FEEL the indicator one "ticking" (that's how I did it;) ), will be PITA.

IIRC, my relay was green...........

Cheers for all the info... I think I'll suffer labour costs and get a Scoob specialist to fit it - your description has really put me off doing it myslef!
