Default Shall I put in new head, engine or sell as is?

Confirmed new head or engine the options:

I have a new import white 95 WRX 260 bhp, tinted windows, upgraded exhaust stainless steel, sti strut brace carbon fibre 60k miles. No rust bodywork A1, recent cambelt change, service oil/filter.

Do I get a new engine 30k miles £700 delivered + £300 fitting?

Get a new head gasket at around £800 fitted?

Sell car as is, car running A1 but getting hot. Will sell for £2200 with new 12 MOT??

Car not yet registered PM me if interested!

£800 to do a head gasket that sounds very expensive.

are you certain its the head thats causing the problem? head gasket is an engine out jobbie, could imagine 800 being a figure after labour, parts and a possible skim etc.

300 to fit an engine seems a bit high i think.....if the car has some sort of service history id get it fixed personally. but id carry out all tests know to man!

Defo head.

Done a coolant gas test comes out positive, temp gauge was disconnected, thermostat was ripped out litteraly.

Coolant is rising through the overflow and steam pooring water out. Some steam out exhaust but not while driving. Engine temp very hot on max.

Buy a new engine break and sell the good spares from your old one.
