I've just bought one and the instructions are a bit useless can someone tell me where the plug is under the dash or post a pic of what it looks like and where it is?

it should come with a patch lead that fits in between the ignition harness and the main loom, then a couple of other wires that go elsewhere

do I need to take the bit of dash out under the steering wheel?

i would say so to do a neater job.

Its just that under there the wires are a mess like someones been messing with the electrics
