Onestop-Digital are based in HK, hence the cheap prices. Not a criticism, merely pointing it out, I have heard good things about them. :)

I don't have one, but by all accounts this is one of Canon's finest optically, plus f/2.8 and IS, 'L' build etc, and works well with the 1.4x extender - a 280mm f/4 is potent kit indeed. Sells for high s/h prices, too. Check out any TV press conference - Canon 1-series camera, plus 580EX flash, plus 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS. Seems a good recommendation :)

But it's a bit bugger. New 70-200mm f/4 L IS is a handy alterative.

Ian Kerr from Scotland would I am sure get within pennies of that price with guarantee of no duties to be paid. I paid about £2.01 more than that. Bugger !!

Perhaps the only downside is the weight. I have Canon 20d with BG -E2 battery grip. I ignored comments about its weight in posts in other forums. When you hand hold the lens for any length of time you do begin to feels it's weight.
