:wonder: Right then. Who's been to monte before? I've got all the maps. logged stage co-ordinates and have pretty much everything sorted out to get there and stay there. The only thing i am lacking is knowledge of the event. I think from what i see that it has changed slightly this year? Did it not used to be centred around Gap? It's now Valence.
The stage list is:
SS 01 ST JEAN EN ROYANS - COL DE LACHAU 28,52 19:16
SS 02 LA CIME DU MAS - COL DE GAUDISSART 17,88 20:06
SS 03 ST PIERREVILLE - ANTRAIGUES 46,02 08:19
SS 04 BURZET - LACHAMP RAPHAEL 16,48 10:13
SS 05 ST MARTIAL - LE CHAMBON - BELEAC 12,81 10:59
SS 06 ST PIERREVILLE - ANTRAIGUES 46,02 15:17
SS 07 BURZET - LACHAMP RAPHAEL 16,48 17:11
SS 08 ST MARTIAL - LE CHAMBON - BELEAC 12,81 17:57
SS 09 LABATIE DŽANDAURE - LALOUVESC 19,67 07:31
SS 10 ST BONNET - ST BONNET 25,93 08:13
SS 11 LAMASTRE - ST BARTHELEMY GROZON 18,76 09:38
SS 12 LABATIE DŽANDAURE - LALOUVESC 19,67 13:03
SS 13 ST BONNET - ST BONNET 25,93 13:45
SS 14 LAMASTRE - ST BARTHELEMY GROZON 18,76 15:10
SSS MONACO - Circuit 2,80 2,80 0:10 9:00

Does anyone know whiuch are the best to view?
I've got to do thursday night stages :thumb: as it's been so long since i watched a rally car in the dark. Just wondering where to go really.

Oh and if anyone has the frequencies for teams, officials weather crews, gravel crews etc etc i'd be really grateful...
Might even buy you a beer if you are going..

There is no Col de Turini stage at all in 2007.

It's a 100% different route from 2006.

All stages near Valence
1-2 Thursday night (Leg 1)
3-8 Friday (Leg 2)
9-14 Saturday (Leg 3)
15 Sunday (Leg 3)

All stages with the exception of SS15 are in the Valence region. SS15 is a new super special in Monaco using part of the GP circuit.

Organisers asked to change route due in part to last years chaos on Leg 1 and felt there would be more suitable roads in the Valence area.

Did Col de Turini this year in June, me in my (now written off MY05 WRX) & a mate in a VX220 Turbo. Absolutely the best road I have ever driven - well after Route Napoleon anyway!

Going down again in 2007, but gonna base ourselves out of Castellane & do more alpine routes. Can't wait.

Having done Col De Turini twice I would honestly say its not worth doing. Great for the atmosphere but crap to see the cars. Saying that even the atmosphere was subdued the second time up there.

Yep did col de turini last year by helicopter, not that many people up there think the police had blocked the roads. Very cold nowhere to get any decent food between runs and the cars weren't going that fast, but an experience. Interested in the new stage in monte on the sunday might be fast unfortunately can't afford to go this year but maybe next :notworthy

Yeah I've said for the past two years that I'll go next year - I'll have to pull my finger out and DEFINATELY make next year the year!

The route for 2007 has also changed to celebrate the anniversary of the Monte. They are reverting back to some classic stages which haven't been used since the mid 90's.
