Does anyone know of a Silicone batchroom selant that doesnt go black, decorated the bathroom in the summer and re did the sealant and its already gone black.

You need to use Anti fungacidal Silicone AKA Sanitary Silicone AKA Bathroom Silicone

Dow Corning's stuff doesn't, but it's chuffing expensive:eek:

You also need to remove as much of the old as possible, then clean down with anti-fungicidal wash, and dry, before re-sealing.

Uni bond do one that is specifically Anti Mould and is about £8 a tube and is very good,but you will have to use a bit of bleach now and again with any sealant and make sure you get a smooth finish when applying

spary it with bleach, leave it over night.. hay presto.. black has gone!!!!
