Black Jax not noticing door opening?


Hi, I have the same problem with my intelliguard 750 with blackjax.
The system has never worked since being installed.

The clifford authorised dealer who installed it said it needs reprogramming, something to do with the revs being at the wrong setting. However everytime I go to get it done they make excuses like their premises being broken into and their laptop being stolen, then they told me their lead to connect to their laptop had broken!

Yeh right more like they don't want to strip the dash down to access the control unit to reprogram it!

I don't know if another dealer will sort it for me without charging me?

Is it likely to be a faulty blackjax unit or does it just need programming correctly?

Also my siren has stopped working completely as of yesterday, no plips or siren when activated. I've been told this isn't covered on the warranty, is this true? It is older than 12 months now too.
